Mohammad Allam

Bahrain

Mohammad is experienced and certified trainer in Business Incubation Management. He holds Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, from the University of Bahrain and an International Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (UK). Besides heading the BBIC, Mohammad is founding member of the new sector specific business incubators in the kingdom of Bahrain. Mohammad has contributed in the design and establishment of the Bahrain University Incubator Center, Women incubator Center, ICT Incubator Center and another upcoming business incubator in the kingdom of Bahrain. Mohammad is actively involved in many Business Incubators and Entrepreneurship related activities in the MENA region and internationally. Mohammad Have delivered many training related to SME's development and Business Incubation Management. Also, Mohammad is a certified trainer by the World Bank to deliver the infoDev Business Incubation Management training. Mohammad is board member and coordinator of the Middle East and North Africa Incubators Network, "SPICE" member of the Science Park and Innovation Center Experts Group in Germany and a member of the Chartered Management Institute in UK.

Nicolas Rohana

Nicolas is the Executive Director & Board Member of Berytech Technological Pole, a Business Innovation & Incubation Center in Lebanon. He joined Berytech since its inception in 2002, counseling and mentoring Lebanese entrepreneurs in their startup ventures. He is also senior strategy & technical advisor to Berytech Fund, a seed/VC-fund investing in Lebanese technology start-ups.

Nicolas is also Associate Professor at the Saint-Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut where he lectures computer networking and entrepreneurship courses to undergraduates and graduates students at the Faculty of Engineering (ESIB). He is also in charge of the Masters Program “Telecommunications Networks” between USJ and Lebanese University.

 

Nicolas sits on the Board of Directors of EBN (European Business Network), and is a certified Business Incubation Trainer from InfoDev (WorldBank) and an accredited EU-BIC (Business Innovation Center) auditor. He is also Board Member of ISOC-Lebanon Chapter, and the spokesperson of Beirut Internet Exchange.

 

Nicolas has a Telecommunications Engineering degree from USJ, and a PhD in Networking Systems from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. He is also an EDP graduate from INSEAD, France.

Laith Kassis

Agraduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, USA and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of EnterVenturesproviding consultancy, mentoring and capacity building to entrepreneurial ventures while validating a business model for a soft-turret phone technology app.

Prior to that, his relevant experience was in managing the Palestine IT Association (PITA) of companies and the PICTI incubator. His leadership had a direct impact on developing the entrepreneurial sector; promote start-up companies and culture. He also contributed to the growth of the ICT sector through promoting multinational R&D projects, outsourcing and investments. He is an early supporter for the development of seed and venture capital creation in Palestine. His customized technology entrepreneurship education material is widely used by local and regional accelerators in the MENA region.

Regionally, Laith has participated in the formation of the MENA Network of Incubators as its Vice President and is currently consulting with the World Bank infoDev program to promote high-growth entrepreneurship eco-systems in the MENA region.
